Well, I've had lots of guppy fry...Ive always used my usual tropical fish food, just smashed up...into a powder like food...good luck...make sure you have the babies by themselves...other fish will eat them! I use a small tank with nothing in it(Bare bottom)....just a bubbler...so you can easily clean it out after feeding...the baby's tank should be clean so they stay healthy....OH and, I dont know about swordtails but guppy fry can be returned to the community tank at a month of age. Good luck!

Most likeley to be a livebearer (mollie, guppie, platie, swordtail)
To make flakes for the baby fish just crush up some flakes in a sandwitch bag until there as small as possible and just feed them those. If the babies arent in there own tank/breeding contraption/net they will most likely to be eaten if theres not anough hiding places.

Wild existence does appropriate interior the wild, yet once you % to objective, boil an egg and feed them very small quantities of the yolk in trouble-free terms thrice an afternoon. the biggest to holding toddler fish alive is sparkling water. Get a seperate container of water and bypass away it sit down over evening so each and every of the chlorine can bypass away the water and arise to room temperature. Get a turkey baster and suck up each and every of the undesirable nutrition on the backside of the tank and extremely slowly upload the water that has been sitting. good success

EB and Venice Girl got it covered, i use baby brine shrimp and "first bites" for all my angel fry.
And depending on what type of fish you have, some parent raise and some will eat their fry. You will want to separate the young with swordtails.

normal fish food and if they are really small and u have other fish that are big keep them away from the big ones. oh yeah and you must seperate the babies from the mom unless you want them to be eaten

For the tiny fish fry I just use the dust off the inside of the regular fish food container. One can purchase food especially for fish babies. Just powderize the food you have.

To start off, you feed them liquid foods, such as Liquifry. You can also make your own. When they're a little older, you can feed krill, brine shrimp, microworms and/or mashed egg yolks. The size of the food increases with the size of the fish.

Any fish food will do just don't over feed them.
