I've committed some felonies in my past, and I've had some drug and alcohol problems. Also, I just can't come to really believe that some dude named Jesus Christ was actually the son of God. I believe in God, but not Jesus Christ. Can I get into heaven? If not, then where will my soul go?

Jesus Christ forgives, and came here to forgive, The way I see it is, after we leave here, we all will be together,
I also believe that our loved ones that have departed, are close, probably in another dimension close to us, or parrallel to us. I believe we will see our friends, our families, and the person you don't believe in, Jesus Christ, the only one that I believe in..
We will find out what everything was all about, why were people different, what was the meaning behind everything?.Why did we go through the things we did?

Wrong board for this question. This is science not theology. Anyway, why would you believe in god when there is no evidence of his existence and not in Jesus Christ, when there is evidence. Scientifically the theory of existence of JC is a lot more credible. Furthermore, if god is as forgiving as the bible makes us believe, then why shouldn't you go to heaven? If there is no heaven, then there is no soul. Nirwana maybe?
PS: Thank god, dinosaurs went extinct.

Yes you can go to heaven as long as you reconcile your sins so that God can forgive you. You should believe in Jesus Christ he is as real as ever. Especially when he died on the cross and took all of the suffering for all of us.

Religion is personal as are our beliefs. Everyone believes different things, so if you want to believe that you're going to heaven then why not. The truth is that no one KNOWS what happens after we die, so just live your life the best you can and don't worry about it.

I personally don't believe in God or an afterlife of any kind, but that's just me. I believe in living life to its fullest, being kind to people and treating everyone with respect. I don't need a religion to tell me that... it's just common sense.

To put it simply, the Bible (in John 14: 6-9) says that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and anyone who wants to get to the father has to get through him (Jesus). Remember, everyone is a sinner, no matter whether they murdered or stole candy from the grocery store. We are all born into sin and the only way we can go to heaven is through Jesus Christ. If you accept His grace today, you will go to Heaven. All those who don't go to heaven will spend an eternity hell. Please, accept Jesus into your life.

you could certainly have faith in heaven and souls without wanting to be a Christian. many faiths have faith in heaven and souls, and a brilliant form of folk who don't have a faith in any respect nevertheless have faith in heaven and souls. you will possibly be a non secular guy or woman without wanting to be a non secular guy or woman.

Well, the Bible clearly states that "whosoever has the son has life, but whosoever hath not the son hath not life but the wrath of God abideth on him." I guess that means you're heading for hell in a hand basket. There's still time to change your mind.

If you don't know if you are going to Heaven, then your not. Ask a pastor of a Christian church and learn. Or read in the Bible, the book of Romans. It will explain it to you.
