Hmmmm there has been some great cricketers over the years, Don Bradman, Ian Botham, Muralitharan etc. But I'm going to have to go with a player who has stood out among all these glittering stars, Max Walker.

Although I like and have respect for many cricketers , there is really no contest in who is my favourite player of all time . Fred Trueman
He was the one in the early sixties that got me interested in cricket , an interest that has lasted and grown ever since .
I also liked him as a commentator . It was sad when he passed away last year .

Shane Warne. Absolute legend. I got the pleasure of seeing him bowl in the 4th Test 2005 ashes series at Trent Bridge when we were chasing 129 to win the test and i honestly thought that he was going to bowl us out.
He never knows when he is beat, and as you get with most aussie cricketers they like nothing better than having a battle on the cricket field.

My best of the best is Gary Sobers. He was an amazing cricketer and the only cricketer to have bat in all positions.
He was great with bowling and fielding.
He is Pele of Cricket.
