I just read an article about how Poly, is actually better for women. and Mono is more beneficial for men.
This is bc Women in poorer countries get a high chance to get a wealthy men.
While only wealthy Men in those countries get to have wifes the less fortunate ones are promised around 70 virgins in heaven if they sacrifice themselves for ex; live bomb.
plus men would tire from so many wives and wives are driven to out of matrimony affairs.

go to myspace and search "polygamy" there a quite a few polygamists groupds on there. some are even looking for a spouse.

It depends what your reasons are for this. There are good reasons and bad reasons. As long as you are honest with everyone, and you and your partners are mature enough to deal with it, then... sure. There is nothing inherently wrong with this, but it's not a good idea unless you've REALLY, REALLY thought about it.

Become mormon. Or you could move to Iraq or somewhere in the middle east. Their men can marry as many women as they want but they have to treat them all equally (so you might have to be rich). What I mean by that is if one wife has a house, all of them get houses, etc.

I am not, but I know that most cultures statistically are. The Na of china are very interesting. You might want to try Africa as well. Are you interested in polyandry or polygyny? If it is polygyny then you should try tibet.
