I'd say alternative rock, although the usefulness of genre classification in today's music scene is questionable, given the myriad genres that now exist which seem almost meaningless, as well as, on a more positive note, the prevalence of genre cross-pollination within most types of music.

Progressive Rock, Jazz Fusion, Heavy Metal, Classic Rock, Classical.
Most unique and intriguing genres. Whatever comes by, fails in the light of those. Although, it would still be opinionated which is the best from those.

All type of music is good. It just really depends on how you feel. I mean if you are happy you want a song that will make you want to dance and if you're mad you want a song that relates to how you feel and calms you down, you know like rock or punk for example. So it really depends on your mood.

indie rock. I can appreciate all types of music but can't stand dance music, I can understand why people dance to it (obviously "dance" music) but I just don't get it when people listen to it at home and in the car...crazy!
