First off THANK YOU and HIM for what you're both sacrificing for this country and my(our) freedom!!!

Secondly, write him a letter every day, tell him how much u love and miss him in every letter, and keep writing him and before u know it u'll b meeting his plane and we won't hear from u for 3mths...and that won't b long enuf 4 either of u!
Good luck and GOD bless

Coming from an wife married to a soldier in the US Army....and he has been in 3 different deployments of 18 months gone for each.

No, 3 months is not long.....its time to count down get excited, plan the moments that you will have with him on his time back.

You need to stay busy and do things to occupy your time, before you know it he will be home.. Mine comes home in 38days.

Is this your first deployment? It gets easier as it goes and if you are newly married before he left, coming from a Veteran wife here that lives this life every day... learn as much as you can about the life, adjust and you will find ways to survive it.. This is not a life for anyone and a lot don't understand, but learn the life and how to do it and you will be better off in the long run if this is his life career. I am a Family Readiness Leader as well in the Army so I deal with this all the time with spouses and family members.

Keep yourself busy, so the time will fly! And tell him we all appreciate what he's doing for our country!
