This doesn't give you a ticket to present him with your marriage material but it was based on your long time friendship. You are not yet in a love relationship and consider all the marriage options including his reactions toward you, his interest towards as he tell that he would consider you in a relationship one day. Why not now. Why keeping your waiting as thought you are a product on the store shelf waiting for a customer like him to buy it. The best thing for you at this time is getting into a relationship with him. See how he treats you. Remember you knew him as a Friend, now it will be the time to know him as you future man and does he have all that takes for him to accept you as you are or he was interested in sex and you become a sex partner for him to keep on telling you that he misses you when in reality he wants one thing from you. That's sex. You have option to weigh about your courtship and take things step after step and see how things are going. Don't rush into marriage until all options are met

If you've been dating for 4 years and still no firm marriage plans, I think it's time to move on. As for sex, keep in mind that guys are able to separate sex & love to a degree women don't seem to. Certainly don't count on it getting him to marry you. You actually could lose some leverage here. Tell him you don't want to end up being a single mother, which would be a disaster.

No, sleeping with someone is no guarantee that they are committed to you or that he would really be considering a marriage.

NO. I DON'T SLEEP WITH A MAN TILL I KNOW HIM FOR A YEAR, AND I AM POLYAMOUROUS.. NO MAN WILL STAY JUST BECAUSE OF 4 YRS. THERE NEEDS TO BE SOMETHING OF A DEEPER INTENTION AND ATTRACTION. I ALSO KNOW GIRLS WHO WILL DO A MAN 10 MINUTES AFTER MEETING THEM. THAT'S TRAMPY AT IT'S BEST. SO IF YOU WAIT- IT WON'T PROMISE ANYTHING. JUST THAT YOU RESPECT YOURSELF ENOUGH TO WAIT.
