The attire you will see at Boston restaurants and clubs is much the same as in other Metro areas where you see women in cocktail dresses standing next to the avant garde in jeans and leather jackets. Project the image you want to convey, and the heck with what anyone else says. I, for one, dress according to my mood.

You would be fine, but I know many people will not be in cocktail dresses. People tend to dress slightly more casual, but it is always nice to look good, so go for it if you are satisfied with your appearance, and can enjoy your meal. It would be very "appropriate" over all.

Cocktail dresses are classics, you will be fine just about anywhere .Its always nice to see a women who takes care and cares about how she looks. Go for it and have a great time.

I just had a look at their website and I think that a cocktail dress would be fine - if you are a woman.
