Okay, really, I am about as open-minded as they come in most areas. However, I think you need to get off your creativity wagon and get some more "normal" names. Do you want the kids at school to tease your kid forever???
1- December - just doesn't sound good
2- Cinnamon - I knew a dog named Cinnamon - she was wonderful -- but she was a DOG
3- Juniper -- only if you didn't let anyone know that was really her name and you just called her June
4- Basil - I know an OLD man who drinks a lot of Crown Royal -- his name is Basil.
5- Plum - Yeah, let's not go there!
6- Sage - okay, I actually know several people named Sage. It's not too bad...
7- Sunflower - are you kidding me?
8- Tansy - is cute, but she will be called "Tansy the Pansy" if she ain't the toughest girl in school.
9- Daffodil - I love daffodils, but I would never name a kid that. Do you want her to be called Daffy Duck or something???
10- Lemon - sounds like a sourpuss old maid to me!
Really, this is just NOT a good list of names. I am not trying to be rude. I am just being real. You gotta do something else!
But then again, you must have known they were a little off-kilter, or you wouldn't be needing to clarify that you didn't want any rude answers. Please get a life and do your kid a favor and name them something simple and "normal".

Sage would work...
How about waiting until the baby is born and naming the child the name you think fits best....When I had my 2nd child I thought it was a boy so I never had a girl name...guess what I had a girl and new instanty that the same name I had for my boy was now the name I'd name my baby girl!

Basil is a men's name, you will find it off and on throughout British culture. Sage is okay and I have seen Tansy used before as well. The others seem better suited to horses.

Sage is the only decent name. I am a teacher and can testify that your child will be teased for the rest of her life if she has any of the other names. Good luck to you!

Remember you child will only be a child for less than 20 years.
Imagine your child as a doctor or a judge.
"Calling Doctor Sunflower Smith to the ER, stat"
" Please stand for the honorable Lemon Smith "
" Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the President of the United States ,Plum Smith "

I like number 8.
and it's good to consider a bit different names. But some of them i don't think any child would thank you for like lemon. (The bullying would be tooo much.)
But Tansy is nice.

Sage is a pretty name, I know a girl named Sage and she loves her name because it is unique and pretty. Basil would be cute as a middle name, so would December. I love your taste in names, these are all very cute.
