MY AC WILL BLOW ON LOW AND MED BUT IT WONT DO ANYTHING ON HIGH. I WAS TOLD I NEED A NEW "SWITCH" THEN I WAS TOLD I NEE A "BLOWER"...I KNKOW NOTHING ABOUT CARS AND DONT WANT TO BUY THE WRONG PART! CAN SOMEONE HELP ME IT HOT HERE IN GEORGIA!!! :-)

i would say that its the switch if it was the blower it would act up no matter what setting you had the switch.

If the motor blows at all, it is functioning like it is supposed to. There are two components that regulate the speed of the blower motor. On the ac box under the hood or under the dash is a plate screwed to the box. There are several wires plugged into that plate. Under that plate is a set of resisters that resemble the old bathroom electric heaters. If they dont look burned or broken, then the problem is with the switch. That is assuming the controll is the old-school knobs and levers. If it has an auto climate controll, all bets are off and the most economical thing to do is take it to an expert.

! you need a heater resistor block. It is the controller for the fan speeds and the high side is burnt out. The part is only $20 and is fairly easy to replace
