i really i want to be more patient. i am pretty patient, but sometimes i get so tired of waiting for something i want. i know this is a really bad habbit and i'm trying to break it. are there any ways of thinking i could fix in order for myself to be a little more patient? i know this is a question that i should solve on my own but i want to hear from other people and some advice, some stories or lessons? thanks. =)

To put u at ease i dont know anyone who has perfect patients so u are not alone. But there are ways to help keep calm. Have u ever heard the expression " a watched kettle never boils" while you are waitin for what ever it is go and do summit else find a good book, housework gettin stuck into summit will keep your mind off the main sorce and hence it will happen quicker as u are not clock watchin "chill life is just day in day out"

What causes impatience. Say you are next to a place that smells really bad. You want to get out of there fast. Say you are near flowers that smell really nice. Then you are not in any hurry.

So impatience is a lack of happiness. Get more happiness and peace of mind and patience is a side effect. See article on site below to find out how to be much happier.

A doctor also needs patients.

Patience, like anything else that you'd want to improve... must be practiced!!! You must first be aware that you've less than what you want. Once you become aware you can use methods of increasing it, such as counting to ten, or putting yourself in the positive aspect of change. What will it be like when..., I'll feel so much better after.... Then again, it also comes with age, and God willing, you'll get there.

You need to focus on other things. Do not focus on the thing that is causing your impatience. Keep yourself busy and productive. In no time, the thing that you were waiting for will come to fruition.

Take up a hobby that requies patience. Golf and billiards would be a good place to start.
