Pre Happy Birthday Annie!

Pot luck birthday party is cool. It is your birthday, do it the way you want to. Plus, you get to taste so many good dishes that your guests will bring.

All the best to you on your special day!

What a great idea! Maybe you can ask the administrators of the center to help out by posting a flier or adding it to the newsletter if the center has one. I like the idea of a community party for everyone who has turned 65 or will be turning 65. A great way to strengthen the community and have fun too!

There is no breach of etiquette to host a pot luck celebration of life...65 is a big year, but then again, every year is a big year...why not make it a Birthday/Unbirthday party for everyone? Just say that, "As I am turning 65 on....., let's all celebrate everyone's life with a pot luck party. Any excuse to party is a good one." Then go for it!

My mother lives in a senior center and they always have pot-lucks.

Either print out a flyer or have someone do it for you....put all the information on it......and then put it in the community mail-slots.

Maybe you can ask one of the other residents for help....HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Instead of gifts, have friends & neighbors all bring a dish to pass. It's a great way to try new dishes & exchange recipes.

~Happy Birthday~

If I were there you would have whatever luck your 'pot' could hold. HAPPY 65TH!!! Invite everyone and suggest that each brings thei favorite dish. Not all will be able to bring enough but others will bring plenty for all. No one will go hungry.
