yeah, but you get used to it after the first day. And eventually they are a lot more comfortable than wearing a pad.

Mollie, if a tampon is in correctly, you cannot even feel it. Be sure to buy the plastic ones with a rounded top. If you need pointers, this is what you do: Look above your avatar (picture.) See the white strip right after "Search for questions.) Type in there "How do you put in a tampon?" You will get literally over 100 answers. Good luck ! If you still don't get it, have someone close to you that uses tampons help you do it. You CAN do it!!~! :)

I have been using tampons for over 6 years, I do not recall any kind of pain what so ever, if it is your first time using, read the "how to" paper that comes inside of the box, I use cardboard, plastic sometimes gets caught on the opening, I hope that helps!

Thay won't hurt if you use tampons with an applicator. Without it it can be difficult for a beginner. Buy something like tampax compak or other brand only with an applicator.

They can hurt, but it's usually just a little pinch. Go to the store and look for tampons that say "slim" on the package.

They do hurt the first time if you dont do it right so make sure she shows you how dont attempt to do it by yourself without reading anything. but yes they do hurt sometimes. but once you get the hang of it they dont u barely even feel them. dont try them when you dont have your period.

maybe the 1st time u stick it in but u will get used to it pads r too uncomfotable use tampons

it does'nt really hurt,it can be uncomfortable.If you can still feel the tampon when inserted,it;s not in all the way.good luck
