It mystifies me how someone lies about education, jobs, favoring the black sheep wihilte ocstarcizing the good one, the year of the wedding and ending up with cousin/siblinigs. This a is when the person you thought was a sibling is actually a cousin due to adultry in the family.

Well, the simplest answer would be that the lies were concocted to protect someone, and as it usually does, the truth rears it's ugly head. I am sorry that something like this has happened, and that you are able to be strong and see yourself through this trying and difficult time. I wish you and your family all the best.

Wow. Sounds like you came from my newly discovered family. There, there was a woman who had a child, but her parents actually raised the baby. Then she went on and had four children with her husband, and those kids didn't know until 3 years ago that their aunt was actually their sibling. In their case, it was hidden for 50 years because of shame, or so we have been told. But the only living people who were alive and aware of what went on back then, today, truly do not care who it has hurt, and will take their secret, or so they think, to the grave. It's really not their secret anymore, because we've found out about it and been able to piece together the facts. Shame played a huge part in this situation though.

It must be the result of inferiority complex of these same people that tell lies.
