I use a toilet seat liner. The kind you get in bathrooms in stores or businesses. Just take one from beneath the stack because there could be airborne germs on the top one. Anyway, just tear off a piece, press it against your skin and it blots the oil up -- and doesn't disturb your makeup. Save the rest for later. The price is right!!!

You have to continually make up your face to eliminate shine, because the oils seep thru any makeup you apply.
Get the toilet seat covers from a public bathroom to use as a tissue blotter. They're made from the same paper as those expensive sheets sold in stores and actress Sarah Jessica Parker uses them as part of her makeup regimen.

wash ur face, use a LIGHT moisturizer, then use a primer before putting on all your usual make up...foundation, concealer and all. if however, you have naturally oily skin, try gg to ur make up counter and teling them tt and getting them to recommend u a line thats for oily skin. I would recommend a high brand if you want results. I use Laura Mercier and I find that her primer is really quite good, and I love her make up. they look good on me...=)
