For some reason you want to make sure they are having fun, or are happy or that life is going well for them..... so you make that extra effort?? Just someone you feel the need to be there for.

Yeah. There's one person here with whom I believe there might be a shared feeling like that.

There are wonderful people on here that I feel compelled to connect with somehow. Everyone has been so sweet to me. P&Sers know how to have a great time! I check in the mental health section to see if anyone needs help that I can offer. I try to answer all of the Autism questions that I find. This is a real bunch of loving, snuggle bunnies on here or it would not work. Thank you for the kindness you have shown me!!

Definately. I'm a motherhen type. When I see some of the sweeter ones ask a question, and someone gives them a really rude answer, my feathers get ruffled. And I love to see people I like having a good time. I can't help it, that's just how I've always been.

I don't feel like a father protector. I believe the system is designed to monitor unbecoming behaviour. For the most part anyway. But if you need help, just give a yell. I'm there for you
Marianne. I got your back.

"Guilty"......I'm not sure I would go so far as "Protective"
Well, maybe a couple........there are several friends here
that either check on me or I'll check on them. Others that
I just will drop a line to once in a while, it never hurts to be
nice to people on the whole. They may be having a "a real crappy day"......a good natured gesture goes a long-way. lol ...... Have a Great Day!

White and Vliger Dragon...my two bestestest friends in the entire Yahoo world. And I protect my daughter-in-law to be, Willow Tatro, with all the claws I have.

i think protecting friends out of mutual love, respect, and care is admirable and that it will definitely strengthen your relationship. It will not only give the person the ability to find strength within themselves but will also give them reason to seek trust in you... but if you mean protecting someone just because you pity them , i don't think protecting them would be very beneficial to either person in that case. :)

As long as the trolls are not in Y!A, any site in Yahoo! will always be safe and protected. Other than the administrators, we users must also do our part to "protect" the Y!A community to be either trolls-free or abusers-free.

Cheers :)
