If you mean should it be free to people viewing the properties then yes. If you mean should it be free to post properties then I wouldn't think so. But you might start off initially having all properties free for the first 3 months to populate your site then after that then start charging.
If it was free to post then you have to have a lot of properties on your website and have a lot of traffic through. Then you could sell advertising space instead.
