I'm 15 and im going to highschool, i used to be a cheerleader (flyer) when i was 10 & 11. im going to tryout for my schools team, but i do not know how to do flips, is that a problem on a junior varsity team? Will that hurt my chances of making the team?

It depends on the school's requirements. Seriously competitive teams may have tumbling requirements. You need to ask the coach to find out for certain.

heyy i am going to be a sophmore and at my school they let people on like my friend she made it and cant even do a cartwheel .. i wanted to try out but i couldnt because when i went on vacation the camp that was required was on the same days :[ are you trying out for football season? it's pretty late too i would have thought it would be like in may lol but for sophmores in my school we need a back handspring so i am going to start going to privates. i suggest you start going. especially if you wanna try out next year so maybe you can get what you need for varsity :] peace && ♥ :]

usually jv doesnt really need flips. just cartwheels and roundoffs.

if you keep your trial routine sharp, show enthusiasm, and practice your cheer faces, you should be okay.

jumps i.e. toe touch are a perk.
