How come almost everything is made in china?

Because Japan got tired of doing ALL the work and figured China needed to do SOMETHING!

The steal everything and then make it cheaper. They undercut other countries, sometimes even loosing money. In the past year, it has been hard to even get containers to receive shipments and they are clogging the ports with their goods. With the increasing recalls and poor publicity, I hope Americans start buying more items made in America.

Because production in China is cheaper. Reasons for this are cheap labour and very unfortunately, child labour.

Because it is alot cheaper to pay them and the things might be cheaply made...but the people don`t really care. Also because China is the cheapest place to manufacture ANYTHING!!!!!

because thats the most efficient place to make them.. there are plenty of ppl to work and its cheaper to import goods rather then make them and buy them in your own country.. however in order to have a stronger economy a country needs to export more then they import,... thats why china is such an important producer.. imaginw if they stopped producing stuff for us??

Because companies like Wal-Mart can buy it dirt cheap, & when it's sold in the USA, they make a big profit in American dollars. I'm starring this Q.

cheaper to have made there and shipped here, and by the looks of it they are pretty damn smart and hard working people to make almost everything there, not to say that other countries are not smart.

Chances are those days are over with all the problems everyone is having with their products, though I never could understand why they were in the first place.

Cause that's where i live and i'm cool. Hehe, no, because it's the fastest growing and most prosperous country perhaps? PLus, they make some pretty nice stuff.
