Netflix.
1) Blockbuster costs too much
2) Blockbuster takes longer to ship
3) Netflix doesnt make you wait as long for a new movie which is in demand
4) Netflix has a much larger collection of movies to choose from.
Only thing blockbuster has ability to drive to their stores but with 3 movies at a time I rarely have the need to go out and grab a movie from a store.

I've had experience with both netflix and blockbuster & personally I LOVE blockbuster because they have more choices and its kind of easier because netflix u cant go inside the store and ask if you can trade the movie for another one. So personally I say blockbuster but I recommend that you try both and then decide which one you like better.

I prefer Blockbuster. I started with Netflix, but Blockbuster was a couple of bucks cheaper, so I switched. I've not compared prices lately, though. But since I joined, they started offering 2 coupons/month for free store rentals, and now you can turn in your mailed DVDs at the store for free rentals. They almost immediately register the movie as returned, triggering the sending of the next movie in the que, but you can be a little more spur-of-the-moment.
In terms of selection, I've not noticed a problem with either. I get some rather obscure movies, and been able to find them on both.

Def blockbuster, I like browsing and seeing all the videos in front of me cuz I never have a movie in mind when dealing with netflix! Now with blockbuster, you can have em mail it or go to the store! Blockbuster really handled that netflix's threat.

Blockbuster because I can get the DVD instantly and can view it at home anytime. Netflix - you have to wait. Movie - cannot do a rewind to review the parts I don't understand or sometimes the conversation is very critical to the plot (like the Illusionist, pretty good movie).
One other source, libraries now have free DVD, old DVD for free checking out.

I go online to my local library branch for older releases first. I can keep them one week free (can Netflix or Blockbuster beat that?)

Honestly I prefer Blockbuster, because you can return your movie right away if you chose too, and get a new one if you feel like .
You can order online at http://www.blockbuster.com and just bring it back to the store or send it in the mail .
