I don't vote for a certain candidate based on political parties. I am an Independent and I vote for whoever I believe has the best standings on some of the most important issues we are facing, like illegal immigration, education, the economy, etc. The next most important thing I look for is personality. I look for someone who is tough, intelligent, and honest.

I will not vote for any candidate who is not 100% prolife. No exceptions for rape or incest. The intentional taking of an innocent person's life should be criminalized without exception. All human beings should have equal protection under the law.
I will not vote for any candidate who is in favor of policies that encourage or help people to sin. Recognizing homosexual unions and teaching children how to safely fornicate themselves are examples.
I look at all the candidates, including third party and independents and choose the best one even if they have no chance of winning. If no candidate lives up to my standards, then I won't vote for anyone.

Already decided and if he doesn't make the cut I am not voting. I will not vote for anyone who uses the ridiculous line "They hate us for our freedom". I will not vote for any candidate who invokes the spirit of 9-11 as justification for anything they have done or will do or try and pathetically gain support by using that attack. I will not vote for any candidate who makes an issue out of non issues such as gay marriage, abortion or flag burning. I will not vote for any candidate that supports something as ludicrous as building a 700 mile fence that will not even cover 1/3 of the US/Mexican border. I will not vote for any candiate that has ever at any point supported the Patriot Act.

How they feel about the oath of office and the Constitution. Everything else falls in behind those because IF they respect the position, then they will be against Amnesty and the NAU and not be part of the CFR. Coincidently Ron Paul is the only one with those qualifications!

Homeland Security...enforce the immigration laws, step up deportation and continue to fight terrorism abroad, paticularly the looming problems of Iran and North Korea.

Party.
However, if I don't like the person My party picked, I will
vote for myself.
If we have to have an idiot in the office he might as well be an
intelligent one.
