If you outlaw guns then only outlaws will have guns,,,and I am a firm believer that a person with a "clean" record should be allowed to be armed,,I mean the dirtbags are going to be armed either way,,so the honest citizens should be able to protect themselves in any shape, way or form.......

I say no. I live in Omaha...and everyday there's at least 1 shooting, sometimes more, in a day. Even though I see the point of view of being able to pack ur own gun for personal protection and respect that. I don't think it would make criminals think twice, I think the criminals will keep on doing what they are doing. They have no regard for life, not even their own.

Definitely not. My 11 month old son shouldn't have a gun, and sure it'll make criminals think twice, but if everyone is packing a gun, then criminals would be too. Dim-witted people and those slow-to-react would have their guns snatched out of their hands by criminals. I agree we should have the right to bare arms, but I don't think it should be mandatory.

many police officials use the Glock 22 or 23, that's a .40S&W. yet some nevertheless do use the Glock 17 or 19, that are 9mm. Sig Sauer is broadly utilized by FBI for there accuracy and reliability. personaly I easily have by no capacity had any exspirance with a Sig Sauer and little with a glock. yet ive heard large revews from the two pistol componies. if i had to % between the two i could bypass with the Sig. for me the glock feels too flimsy. be certain you employ good high quality Jacketed hollow factors. i exploit Hornady faucet rounds in my Springfield XD-40. and that they paintings large. the XD is a very good pistol besides.

people should receive gun education in schools, just like they are supposed to do driver education, sex ed, reading, math, science, etc.
then upon turning 18 (which should also be the legal age for driving, sex and drinking.) every citizen should be issued a .22 handgun & given the opportunity to take an extended course for rifles &/or shotguns &/or larger caliber handguns.
the world would be such a very much better place!

That has happened... in the days of Wyatt Earpe... Doc Holiday...
People fought hard to change that. And I'm glad they did, I am scared of guns. If everyone had one, I'd never leave my effen house.
So NO, and criminals wouldn't think twice they'd just shoot first.

Just imagine the number of people with short fuses that would have a gun. Do you want them to have a gun too?

I am a strong believer that we should have the right to bear arms if we choose, but I also believe that if you are going to carry a gun you better get trained in the proper use of it.
