Ok i found this in a old abandoned house it does work and it winds up quite smoothly in the center it says record what i want to know does anyone have any information about it like how much it is worth anything!

now with some more research the it is swiss and
Record Watch 1905 Tramelan Record S.A. that is all the info i have right now. have scoured the internet and ebay but cant find anything like it

Hi. there are a lot of pocket watch collectors out there! the watch movement has a lot to do with dating and identifying old pocketcwatches....before opening the watch to gather info from the movement, check the following resources and learn how to without harming the case.

try looking for similar items on eBay, check with a local antique dealer or two, and also, just use a simple search tool, like google.com and perhaps it can tell you how much similar watches are selling for. Generally, by the way, watches that are not dripping in diamonds aren't selling for massive amounts, unless there is truly something special about it, like it was owned by a famous person or it was the first or last of a rare and exceptionally made model.
