Not sure if this belongs in "Hobbies & Crafts", but...

I have 4,529 hours in the SH-60B / F Seahawk, and loved flying in them. Personally, if you tried to shoot at MY BIRD, I'd happily fire back (I had an M-60 as my doorgun in the early 1990's)... I understand the birds now have a version of the M-2 (.50 cal) or the rotary-cannon.

If you seen how the rookies start out flying one, you laugh , Flying it would be more fun. I hate to see good aircraft get shot down. Also I think it illegal for you to shoot at one unless your in the armed forces of our country and what your shooting at is the enemy aircrafts. but a helicoter pilot working for the Public Safety ( police, air Med, forest fire...ect) do make some good money ( That might be a matter of option), but they are highly trained, skilled and repected.

I alway want to fly one when I was a kid- In fact you want a good laugh sometime- read about all the Men who thought they could make it work and failed miserbly and the thing smash it itself to pieces until Igor Shirokey ( forgive my Spelling his name here) finally slove the problems it had and made it work. The were other varings on it as well.

Hope this answers your question.

Too easy to shoot at one, so I think flying would be more fun.
