I agree, but I'd keep an eye on TNA that airs on Spike TV. US wrestling has been all about what names you have. And they have added some pretty good names lately: Hulk Hogan Rick Flair Eric Bischoff Kurt Angle Mick Foley Kevin Nash etc. With Hulk Hogan at the helm, if they play their cards right they could get some big names that get fed up with Vince McMahon. The WWE superstars aren't looking so hot anymore. Triple H, Chris Jericho, and Matt Hardy all have some pretty significant guts on them. They aren't in the shape like they once were. WWE only has one true superstar that really makes them. And if they lost him to a rival, it could really hurt the WWE. And that is the Undertaker. The other guy that would really hurt the WWE to lose would be John Cena.

I do know that their are some days for walk ons, but when how, I can't tell you. You really have to be very good, to walk on, because someone they never heard of, may give them a good performance, and then nothing.
If you are playing some where, get in touch with teams, and tell them about your interest. JOining a B division club may not be idea so you can get to be known somewhat. they do have scouts going around looking for talent.

In the US, there is what is called the USL. Most of the teams are along the eastern seaboard. however, in the DFW, there is a team called the DFW Tornadoes. They are a few divisions below USL, but still the same league.

MLS sometimes will look at people, but you have to promote yourself like none other. send tapes, etc, as if you were appying to college.

hope that helps

Walk on for a soccer team?
Simple, wear a skirt, walk with a swing, and ask them to play with their balls.
You're on the team, that's all it takes to make a soccer team.
