Hand cooked crisps, what's all that about? They are not cut by hand, so does someone physically throw them into the fryer thereby making them special. Hand-dived scallops confuses me as well, has the diver got a hand job? There is only one type of hand job as far as I'm concerned.

I'll have to be honest and say "There is only one type of hand job as far as I'm concerned" was the only bit I really took on-board. So I'll just nod & agree with you.

Just advertising jargon, take the phrase "New and Improved" doesn't make sense. Something is either 'new' meaning not made before or 'improved' which is something old that has been made better and therefore cannot be 'new' Advertisers go for key trigger words when thinking these things up just to get people interested.

Yes i know it ... it means it is not machine made but made by hand.. the way you prepare cake in your home and you buy from store , is the different...

I know what your saying, I think they are saying that by it been manufactured by hand and not by machines love and care has gone in to it !! :)
