they both choose to continue working while fighting their illness, yet the righties contend john edwards is somehow taking advantage of the situation to get votes, should he divorce his wife, like newt gingrich did while she was sick with cancer?-------why are the righties incapable of rational thinking?

They both are courageous.
The issue is whether John Edwards is taking advantage of the situation - not whether Elizabeth Edwards is courageous or not.

Two different issue here. Tony Snow is fighting cancer while working. Snow does not USE his cancer in getting his job done. John Edwards does NOT have cancer...his wife does. For me, it is not a big deal either way, but looking at it objectively, the Edwards have on occasions exploited her cancer in his run for the presidency.

The ONLY time I hear anything about Tony Snow on this forum is when the lefties bash him. LOL
I think it's good that they're both working. We all know that attitude and not giving up to sickness will prolong the life of anyone.

Tony Snow isn't making a point of discussing it and wont wear it on his sleeve as the Edwards do.

I consider them both to be courages since I know both have to push themselves to get on with life instead of caving in to their feelings. I am sure both have to be completely exhausted most of the time.
