Yes, Mays is Barry Bonds' godfather and was present when Bonds passed Aaron with number 756. Aaron sent congrats to Bonds but wasn't in attendance when his record was eclipsed.

Hank Aaron and Willie Mays are still alive. Willie Mays threw out the first pitch at this years All Star Game and Hank Aaron made a video tape to tell Barry Bonds how proud he is that he broke the record.

Yes, if you've been watching sports recently you'd know, because when Bonds hit 756 Hank Aaron left a video message for him and Willie Mays was on the field with him once he hit it.

They are both still alive. If you saw Barry Bonds hit his 756th home run you would of seen Willie Mays congratulating Bonds in person for he is his godfather, and you would have seen Aaron giving a televised congratulations to Bonds on his 756th home run.

Yes.

C'mon, superstar, slugging, Hall Of Fame players? If either died, you'd hear about it.

Mays was born 06-May-1931, and Aaron was born 05-Feb-1934, so both are getting up in years but hanging in strongly.
