I think that many of us are quick to "give up the goods" because we some how believe that if we don't, he will go away.
How sad.
If he IS a good guy, he'll wait until you have a lot of intimacy out of the bedroom before moving in to a physically intimate relationship.
We all must remember that sex is an EXPRESSION of love and intimacy - not the door way to it.

Not in my case nor my children's case. Could be the up bringing you had that makes you feel this way. Maybe your mama didn't teach you the importance of patience and high morals. Call me old fashioned, but, when I was younger, girls that gave it up had a terrible reputation and taken advantage of by the boys after they gave it away. Back then most girls waited until after they were married or engaged at least. I ended up being a single widowed mom with my first 3 children. I dated, and, I didn't "put out". Some men respected me for this and stuck around, some didn't and left. I am happily married to one of the men that did, and still does respect me for who and what I am.

Not all women are the same but unfortunately,a lot of women have self esteem issues ,we women need to understand our worth and demand respect from our men. I feel if we respect our self we will not be too quick to give it up it's sad but regardless Because a woman gives up the goods it not a free card for a man to be an a*****e. cheers

I don't give up my good easily!!! That must be earned, definatly takes more than dinner and a movie, even more than buying me drinks for a night. I know I'm a b*tch boys!!!

I do expect monogory from my man, but thats only after we have defined it as an actual monogomous relationship. I don't flip if I go on a date with a guy and then see him the next day with another girl.

It depends on what you consider quick. If you ask a man who is in dry spell and dating...he probably doesn't think it is very quick. Monogamy is a good thing when you consider diseases and unplanned pregnancies.

i don't give my "goods" up easily. I don't know if you do, but there is a common saying that is true. Why buy the cow if they are giving the milk away for free.

Men are not going to respect a woman who will just give it away to anyone. And what man wants to marry a woman who he doesn't respect?

I only expect what I deserve. How can I expect for someone to be monogamous and respect me when I didn't even respect myself by "Just Giving It Up"
