I loved the Smurfs and the Jetsons and the Flintstones
Cartoons today are nothing like they used to be. I miss the old ones really bad.

As a child I liked:
Alvin and the Chipmunks
The Smurfs
Duck Tales
Camp Candy
He-Man
Garfield
Rescue Rangers
Daffy Duck
As an adult I like:
The Simpsons
King of the Hill
South Park
Dr. Katz
Home Movies
Bevis and Butthead
Family Guy
I guess I never grew up much.
What do I think about cartoons today?
I think they are great. But I can't understand the plots of Japamation cartoons though. Other than that I like most new cartoons.

I loved H. R. Puffinstuff the most. Not a cartoon exactly but close. I guess Looney Toones, or Scooby Doo, would have been my favorite cartoons. Loved Fat Fat Albert also. When my kids were small the only cartoons I let them watch was Duck Tales and Muppet babies. They could watch some educational shows, Christian videos, and McGuyver.

My favorite was Casper. My kids are not allowed to watch a lot of new ones either. Even the "innocent" PBS ones ya gotta watch. I can't stand the bickering among the siblings on Arthur, etc. My kids love to buy the oldies at Dollar Tree & watch 'em over & over (even black & whites).
Kipper, Little Bear, & Curious George are my favs of those made today.

I liked Popeye, Tom and Jerry, The Jetsons, The Flintstones, Roadrunner, and a few others as well. The cartoons nowadays aren't as good as those that I mentioned.

i used to love scooby doo, don't have kids, so don't really see today's cartoons. But a while back my nieces were over, and were looking at sponge bob, which I thought was very funny....but when I was growing up, cartoons were not on TV, 10 hours a day, I think we got 2 hours max just before the news came on..

I liked Foghorn Leghorn and Rocky the Flying Squirrel. I hate to see kids watching the cartoons of today. There is seldom a complete sentence, mostly shrieking. They have characters saying "i'm going to kick your butt!" (childrens' show?). And this is on the tamer ones like Spongebob and Ed, Ed, and Eddy.(or whatever). Give me the old "violent" cartoons of long ago. Oh, and I loved Wile E. Coyote!

I liked Under Dog, The Super Friends and Top Cat. Also Heith Cliff. These days, cartoons are neither mean nor amusing, but stupid- with a few exceptions. But that's just on televsion.
