This is in reference to someone I know who's doctor gave her one for her son, andshe believes it gives her permission to spank. That if anyone questions her spanking, she can just show them the script!! Did the doctor write it to scare the kid or is he some kid of quack?? Any thoughts??

WTF? Does she have to take the child to a pharmacy to have the prescription filled?

I'm a Florida attorney. Parents can spank children. However, they cannot beat children. The doctor should be reported for doing that. It is not only stupid, it shows the doctor is practicing law. He told the mother she could avoid the legal consequences of beating her child with that worthless piece of paper. That's not only the bad practice of medicine, that is practicing law without a license - a third degree felony unless he is also a licensed attorney, which is doubtful.

not an ethical doctor...although I'm sure that they've seen
some patients who should qualify.
And as mentioned- how would a pharmacist ''fill'' that script?
