1) Save up your alowance ( if you have one)
2) babysit for money
3) sell lemonade or cookies (lol)
4) ask your parents if you can clean the house for money
You'll probally only make close to 200 dollars.....

Mow lawns!!! Most adults will pay you at least 20+ dollars a pop. And that is just the cheap skates. But at that rate if you mowed 5 yards a weekend It would take you about 10 weeks. Maybe 11 because you gotta pay for your own gas. Good on you for wanting to earn your own money!! It makes it that much sweeter when you have met your goal.

Payments for work are usually based on skill .
Are you a computer whiz that can fix people's computers or tutor them ?
Maybe a 100 hrs to earn the $1000 .
Can you do special yard work like laying irrigation drip lines and hooking up the pieces or can you just pull weeds and mow lawns ?
Maybe like 150 hours . . .
Or walking peoples dogs if you are a city person with lots of neighbors who don't have time to walk their pets ?
Maybe 200 hours . . .
