i love being submissive to my husband and taking care of him by catering to his every whim in and out of the bedroom. his wish is my command. honestly, it feels so natural and right to me. i like making him happy and pleasing him. so why aren't more women like me? and why is submissive such a bad word now? people think that submissive = doormat with no opinions. this is so not true, i'm an intelligent woman (im in my 2nd year at college studying microbiology & immunology and my dream is to be a medical researcher). im not religious either so this has nothing to do with the bible. all i know is im a lot happier when my husband is the "King of the castle" and he likes it this way too. he treats me like his queen. why don't other women want this? seriously?

I have the same type of relationship with my husband. I wouldn't call it submissive at all. It's just like following the golden rule (do unto others). We love to take care of each other and I think it's one of the things that helps us to get along so well...we rarely argue...there's no reason to.

My relationship is 100% real, modern and functional. I think there are a lot of women who settle for less or set their expectations too high and then they don't get what they want, which in turn makes them bitter and unhappy...then they end up taking it out on their man.

It's the whole thing about, parents teaching you to respect your self. I know it's your husband but at one time, sex was inapropriate, like when your young you know, So in a way even though your not a ****, you don't that thought even crossing your husbands mind, like being a freak. But keep doing what your doing, I try and it's hard cuz I always have that in my head.

How are you so sure that other women are not like you? I'm very respectful towards my husband, and him to me. Neither of us raises our voices to one another and we both support each others wishes and desires. I wouldn't call my self "submissive" but just respectful.

Cheyenne, I just think the word itself has picked up a negative connotation. I hear what your saying and if both parties give....its a beautiful thing.
