Where have all the hippies gone?

I am a hippy, or a yippie (politically active hippie). Where are all you guyz? Now that the greatful dead concerts are ... well dead, where can we meet and concentrate on peace love and togetherness?

good question. i run into one every now and then. the strange thing is, the last 3 people ive met with that mindset were a lawyer, a probation agent, and a farmer. most of my old hippie friends turned into bikers or they just lost it completely. now i think im going to go listen to some moby grape.

I think they are still trying to make sense of this world in which we live. At least I am still trying to work it out.

I didn't know the greatful dead - I think I might have been enjoying the grateful living in NZ at the time.

i think like a hippy no war and peace love and equality, the clothes are wicked, but i'm too fat to get most of them, suppose i'm just a kid still. damn there's no hippies in belfast, there's damn all in belfast it's all emo kids, skaters wannabes and all that....
