I think he will be back for 1 more year.
He still pitches very well and can fool hitters. He does not have the speed he once had, but he pitches smarter and more efficient.
I give him one more year with the Mets. Eventually he will make the Hall of Fame

Well, the Mets are in serious need of good, experinced pithchers. They really need him for next year, unless they can aquire somebody good in the off-season. I belive however that Glavine has had a very full career, and that he is looking foward to retiring after this season, unless the Mets offer him a LOT of money to return, and usually the Mets don't like to spend that much.
Personally, I hope that he does return becasue I really think that he is a good pitcher, he works well with the team and and very nice personally. Very classy all the time, win or lose.

If he is still pitching well the end of this season, he probably will. Anyway, I hope he does. I think he is a great player and a class act, and I would like to see him pass a few people up in the 300 win club.

I think he will retire because then he will go out with style and class instead of pulling a clemens and embarassing himself. Tom Glavine would retire with a great record, with no blemishes-no steriod shadow or bad character. he is a great example of a true baseball hero and i hope he goes down with the greats!

I think it depends on how the Mets season turns out this year. If they are close, but do not win the World Series he may have a desire to return. However, if they win it all, I think he will feel that he has completed his career very successfully.

Tom said if the Mets win the World Series he will retire "on top." If not, he has a decision to make...
