When they are not afraid to be themselves no matter what. At least then you know what you are dealing with. We all have choices of who we like to assosciate ourselves with. For me honesty & loyalty are important.

Openness and honesty are two of the characteristics. It is something that is hard to explain. I just know if someone is real. I did not always have this ability but now I can pick up on it immediately. Thank God.

A person who chooses to be themselves and not pretending to be something the aren't....fake ppl are just the worst. Straight forward ppl tend to be real all the time. Even if the truth hurts.
