I would hold back. I wouldn't want to get hurt by someone and then suffer. I mean, love is a strong thing, but sometimes, it's a little too strong if you fall too fast. Sometimes, you need to hold back with things and wait. I would rather wait years to know if the person I love, loves me back than fall for him, but find out he doesn't love me back. I wouldn't want to get hurt because either way, it'll hurt me more than it'll hurt him. Besides, fear is another strong thing, as well, and if a person is too afraid to talk or even have close contact with the person, what's the use? I'd rather wait and fall slowly than fast.

I actually fall BACKwards onto my butt.
Seriously... this is your one time in life to experience that complete letting go and letting love flow through you.
This is the most sublime of God's gifts, and one that you are meant to fall fully into with no holding back.
If it ends badly, believe you'll have the strength to feel the heartbreak, without it breaking you.
Your heart will survive to love again.
How can you say No to the best feeling you can ever have?

I let myself fall face first and I fall hard. That sucks when it fails, but I'd rather have the moment and live in the moment and BE the moment than to hold myself back and lose the moment entirely.

LOL. I use to dive head first into the pool of love, but after smacking my head several times on the bottom of the pool, I either ease my way into the water (testing it out) or I still find myself doing a cannonball or can opener (it's fun but it won't hurt so much if I hit bottom and there's a nice splash).

I let myself fall, literally, fall right on my face
I learn it the hard way that trying to be a tough guy upholding my pride only hurts myself more than anything... the consequences i mean

It takes awhile for me to let myself completely go because of that fear of being hurt. Emotional baggage takes A LOT of time to get over.
