St. Louis was in the second wave of teams to join the NHL and have yet to win they get my vote. Bobby Orr and company ruined the Blues chances of a Cup 2 times.

The Buffalo Sabres they have never won the cup yet since their existance and they have come so close so many times most recent this past season and the season before then there was the 99 finals against Dalas and it was game 7 and then there were those times with the French connection

I say the Canucks because they have been in the league for 37 years and not had one. The fans are dedicated and sell out the joint every night. Plus they hardly win anything in any sport, its tuff being a Vancouver fan. Not to mention that the orginization has always been responsible with their actions. If everyone followed their example player costs wouldn't be an issue.

Oh I see it's all the teams who never won it before. They all deserve it. Every team deserves it, your question should be who has the best chance to win it for the first time, not who deserves it. Who will win the cup for the first time the soonest, I say Ottawa has the best chance, officially they have 10 cups though, they were the same organization. Other than Ottawa, I say Buffalo should win it first.

As a Nux fan, I'll say the Sabres. Those fans deserve it. They have great fans, exciting teams and twice came up short. If Nux go back to a more '94 Quinn-like fast skating, goals-a-go-go style I'd say the Nux but this Vigneault edition is snoozeville to watch.

For those that didnt realize it his list is of teams that havent won it.
The Sabres get my vote. They have adjusted to the league very well and have some strong runs but just came up short. Buffalo needs a major championship! And Lacrosse dont count!

Why would you make a list of less than half of the NHL teams?

and anyway, the team thats going to win the stanley cup is going to be the team that works the hardest.

Or just doesnt choke in the playoffs.

Should put more teams on that list, but the Buffalo Sabres get my vote, adjusting perfectly to the new rules, having back to back outstanding seasons and making it to the Eastern Conference finals both years then getting nothing.

Alot of teams there do! But the Team that i think most deserves it, would have to be Phoenix, because its been let down after let down for them, their players cant stay healthy, they have a hard time scoring goals, and the staff is doing everything to improve, now they suffer the loss of Jeremy Roenick, and Owen Nolan is climbing to the end of his rope, i think they need better young guns, and are defenently deserving of a cup title.
