No, it's a great policy, but not the best. There is nobody in the world who has been completely honest in their whole entire life. Sometimes, you need to lie to spare someone's feelings or to protect an entrusted secret.

You know, that's a hard one to answer......I guess it depends on the situation at the time. Sometimes honesty will cause you to lose friends, it can make people very angry at you, but at other times honesty will save your life.....so I guess that it just depends on each situation individually for me. I'd like to say that I'm always honest, but that'd be a lie!!!

Yes. However, withholding the truth is not *necessarily* a lie. Sometimes discretion is not only the better part of valor, it's the better part of policy.

up to a point , but you do sometimes have to weigh up things before you do be honest with someone or about somethings ...if used improperly it can and does cause far more problems than a "white lie"... so while its always better to be truthful it does come with a big responsibility.. so use it wisely

Only in a general way. Do not try this in court if you are only slightly guilty and you value your freedom. Also, if someone asks a question like "Does this dress make me look fat?"
