The battery life is roughly equal, that is what the K in the name tells you, the farther down in the alphabet the better the battery life. The TK56 is better in performance, the numbers tell you relative performance, the higher being the better.

AMD is heat generating device, its foolish to call AMD Athlon a laptop instead its mini oven, i prescribe that for thos who live in cold areas.
