If they think God hates anybody who is not just like them, then they basically hate most of the world. So why would you vote such a person into office?

Generally, religion is nobody's business. But these people are dangerous; they WANT the world to end; and it's time to make a concerted effort to weed them out and actively discriminate against their political ambitions for the same reason you would discriminate against somebody who thinks black people should be in shackles. It's a sick view of life that, as history shows, perpetuates war and hate.

Remember that when you look at a Mike Huckabee or Tom Tancredo.

The other posters are partially correct; some fundies do, of course, want you to 'join the flock'. But once in, you are expected to conform to their rigid, narrow views - views which men such as Robertson, Dobson, DeLay, or former Sen. Santorum want to use the power of government to enforce. The main difference is that Christian fundamentalists are patient; they want to take over government gradually & slowly, (generally) without violence. As another poster said Muslim fundamentalists are simply hell-bent on murdering any 'infidel' and that includes fellow Muslims who don't accept violence/terrorism. Fundamentalist Christians figures such as Dobson & Robertson have openly expressed hate of those who don't agree - you bet they hate you!

Not true at all. Evangelical fundamentalists may see you as lost and may want you to "come into the fold", but they do not generally "hate" anyone.

You cannot use a moral equivalency argument to compare Christianity to Islam, if that's where you are going.

Islamofacists, however, truly do "hate" non-believers and will actually do something about sending those non-believers to the afterlife early.

Your view of fundamentalists is a bit distorted. They don't hate people who are not just like them, they only hate what some of those people DO.
Hate is what terrorists do. THEY kill innocent women and children for being different.

totally agree with you. the lies, the psychopathology in the middle east by self-deluded racists, the rationalized insanity of gun totin' politicians corrupting or destroying whole countries for a hand full of shareholders-the madness of the bible, how anybody can be so stupid and actually pray to an insane deity that wants to DESTROY EVERYTHING, is a reflection on the idiots who infest society-and those who encourage them by voting for them.

The whole foundation of your question is way off base. Which makes the rest of it BS.
