Yes, I've seen it about 5 times now. I'm a big fan of Michael Moore's books and docs.

Should you see it? I can't see why not. It's a nice comparison of the US medical system with the systems in Canada, the UK, France and even Cuba. Ofcourse, Michael puts his spin on the whole thing. For example, I have very little to criticize of my Canadian system, but it is far from perfect and is not really as rosey as Moore makes it out to be. It makes me wonder about the absolutely extrodinary things he has to say about the UK and French sysytems, which from what Moore says is way better than ours even. The stories about the uninsured in America didn't shock or surprise me....medical care is expensive, and if you have to pay, well, then you have to pay. What did shock me were the stories from Americans who were (suposedly) insured. I won't say any more on that and will let you see for your self.

Will you enjoy it? If you enjoyed Bowling For Columbine and Farenheit911, then you should enjoy Sicko aswell. I was not very enthusiastic to see Sicko but I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. A doc on the US medical system didn't seem to be as catchy as a doc on Bush's war on terror or a doc about Americans right to be armed. Many of the stories are absolutely heart-breaking.

Just keep in kind, no matter what you watch, no matter who the source is, you can't just take it as truth. You have to dig through the facts to find the degree of truthfulness.

Yeah, it, like all Moore's films, has some mind-blowing stuff in it. You get a real feel for just how evil America's health insurance companies are. I'd say the flick was better than Fahrenheit but not as good as Columbine.
