I used to have a Tracfone a long time ago. Then I had a Virgin Mobile phone and now I have a Sprint phone. The first two were prepaid and I was spending so much money on minutes. Now I have a Sprint phone with a plan and I spend less money, month (on my bill) then I did before on minutes and the minutes that are included on my plan is more than I was buying.

I have never understood the point of trac-phones, you pay so much, and get so little. I have always been with Nextel(HATED IT!, worst reception in the world, and that direct-connect is just plain useless if you are not in construction), or Sprint, where I have internet, longdistance booku minutes, and all that stuff in a nice package, (currently an LG Musiq, formerly an upstage, but burned 3 of them out in 2 months, so...........). Big question, can someone explain to me what purpose, or advantage, is any there is to a trac-phone?
