Denny's used to allow you to eat free on your birthday but they don't anymore. Does anyone else have an idea? By the way, I live in Houston, but it doesn't matter if it is a national chain. If they do it at one, they do it at all. Help please because my B-Day is today! (I am such a procrastinator)

Call ahead to confirm the details of what "free" means. Usually you have to be accompanied by at least one paying guest. Sometimes you need to be a regular and have your name and birthday on their email list. Promotions come and go, don't show up only to find out that it's old or fake information on a website.

Happy Birthday!

Todai Japanese Buffet, at Marqee Entertainment Center - I-10 and Silber (next street to IKEA, near 610 West).

I do a birthday party there every year. As long as I bring a paying adult, I get to eat for free on my birthday. Lunch is $15 per person, dinner is $24, with decently good sushi, as well as hot food such as teriyaki and tempura, as well as an amazing assorted dessert.

Happy Birthday! Eat up!

Benihana used to give a free meal to the birthday person. We upset the gentleman that was our server at Benihana. We have 4 birthdays in my family within 9 days. We do a group dinner. He asked whose birthday it was and all 4 of us raised our hands. He laughed. He asked again. We told him we were not kidding. He said he could only give one dinner, but he would give 4 pieces of cake. We told him that was great. He really thought we were going to try to get 4 free dinners with only 4 paid dinners in our group.
Try the link below to find a Benihana near you and call them to see if they still give free dinners for birthdays.

Red Robin gives a free burger if you sign up for their club on their website... then you just print out the birthday voucher and show your ID as proof! They have really good burgers!

Don't know Nationally, but there is a popular steakhouse near us in FL, that does. Check restaurants in the yellow pages, it's a long shot but possible.
