Winning isn't everything to me and sometimes I purposely make things happen so someone else wins. So, my answer is no.

on sports, yes. i don't beleive in the whole "play for fun" thing. I know that is most likely wrong to say but, i like to win in sports not lose, and i don't usually have fun unless i win.
but in life, no i don't always have to win
