Every team has a chance.
Every year there is at least one surprising team. In 2006 it was the Saints.
In 2005 It was the Bears.
In 2004 It was the Chargers
I could be wrong but in 2003 I think it was the Panthers.
I'm not sure about 2002, but in 2001 it was the Patriots.
I'm not sure about 2000, but in 1999 it was the Rams.
Anyone who says any team has no chance is an idiot.

Yes they have a chance. They already have secured a key element in winning football games in the NFL - DEFENSE. They have a great mix of young rising starts and vets on that side of the ball. With another year together they'd be even stronger for 08-09. They can take next years draft and Free Agent market to address the offensive line. They have some weapons on offense if they can get someone to just block. They can probably win 4-6 games this year based on the defense alone and probably next year 7-8 wins.

I think that the 08 Raiders have a great chance this year...a great chance of having the #1 overall pick in the draft again next year.

I have been a Raider fan my entire life and I do think they have a chance to get up near the middle of the pack in wins but nothing more.YET. They have talent but I think its gonna take 2 or 3 years to get to come together and mature. It certainly wont happen over night but I do like the direction they are going in. Now all they need is for the refs to not screw them with game losing calls.

The Raiders will have a hard time going 0-16, but if they have a few breaks along the way, they could do it. So yes, they have a chance.

Right now they are a 75 to 1 to win the superbowl. I think they may have a record of maybe 4-12. Which is kind of funny because I am guessing that they will start the season 3-1 beating Detroit, Cleveland, and Miami.

'08? Nah, I don't think so, and I'm a 40 year Raiders homer. We still need a QB. Culpepper is NOT the answer and all Super-Russell is going to do is empty our bank account.

Yes, they have a chance to go 1-15 is that's what you mean, depending on how well they do at a few games. Otherwise, they'll do even better and go 0-16, and then JaMarcus Russell (if he ever signs the contract) will be adopted by Mrs. McNabb as a safety precaution. You know, so he can go to the sidelines and be fed soup by his mommy after his first injury. Donavan and JaMarcus will be just alike.

As of right now, yes. However, once the season starts, I think they will not be a great team. BUT, I do believe that they have a better chance at improving last season's win total with Culpepper than with Russell at QB.

They do play the NFC north this year. So it's a possibility they could win a couple games. Don't look for lot of wins again this year.
