depending on the hormone levels in your body since they do change all the time,it could be possible to have a heavy period when you otherwise dont. Most of the time its not harmful, some women just menstruate heavier than others. If you see large blood clots or clumps, then you should make an appt with the doctor just to be sure it isnt anything serious.

That is completely normal. Some periods are heavier than others (especially if it is late).
It's also only the 2nd day. Days 2 and 3 of my period are usually heavy.

Size doesn't matter, I think it's just everybody is different. I'm skinny as fck, I'm only 100 pounds and I'm 15 and 5"5 which is underweight and I'm a skinny little athletic twig lol and my period is heavy, I think it's all in what you eat or something, sometimes your period can be light sometimes it can be heavy it depends on the excercise you do that month, and what you eat, etc

I can be normal. I have heard that changes in stress levels, and changes in diet can effect the flow. Mine is heavy one month, and then is light for like the next three or four. Just make sure you keep track of everything, and contact the doctor if you stay heavy for a very long time.

Yes, this is normal. How heavy your period is could be based on stress, but if it continues to be heavy the next month and you have had no added stress you might ask a doctor.

First, how long has it been going on? First few days it's usually heavy then becomes lighter after a few days. However, if the flow is still heavy and doesn't stop, have it checked for possible adenomyosis or other related things.

Yes most defanitely. Some months are light, some are heavy.
If you are feeling lightheaded, or dizzy I suggest you to see a doctor to get your iron levels checked because a lot of women tend to become iron deficient and weak around that time of the month due to the blood loss.

It's normal for it to fluctuate. You don't need to worry unless you are soaking a pad every hour. If you are young and new to periods this is very common, your body will regulate itself.
