I myself personaly would not hang out with anyone who is so ignorant, and rude. But that is up to the person.

People who show traits of homophobia can hardly be called friends. If they choose to hang out with us, given their homophobia - I'd call them opportunists at best.

If you're still in the closet I can see how that *may* happen, but once out of the closet - no way.
I think people who do that, even if in the closet, are needier than they realize. Show some backbone - if someone doesn't like who you are, leave them.

They're practicing unconditional love. They accept their homophobic friend for who she is, flaws and all. This makes them much bigger people, in my opinion.

A phobia is an unreasonable fear of something,
homophobia is an invention of radical homosexuals who would rather call names than talk.
I have friends who believe themselves to be homosexual, we are friends because we like each other, not because of our sexual preferences.

me, being a lesbian,,, there is no way in hell i would have a homphobic friend.. that says to me, they have no respect for who i am... why are they my friend...FOR SYMPATHY.? sorry, I'll pass on that. they are hypocrits. and i have no place for them in my life.
