Denial is not a river in Iraq, as a matter of fact Al Qaeda has been fighting in Iraq for quite some time now. Their leaders have stated this.

We already won the war...Now we are winning the reconstruction effort.

What ever will the Democrats do if we win in Iraq? They must be terrified because if we come out victorious...they're finished and they know it.

we can win any war millitarily, just as we have this one. the problem is, is when we leave the vermon come back. you can't bring in the exterminator either because that means killing everyone and that is not a good option. so, to hold our millitary gains we have to stay, and we do not have the troops needed to accomplish that. it's all about the iraqis taking charge and holding the gains in territory we achieve. IF, (and that's a big IF), we can accomplish that, we can still win this thing!

Because the Taliban and Al-Quada have just moved to a different place. It's like McCain said (who, by the way, is a war supporter.)
"It's like a giant game of Whack-a-mole."

Of course, when the war began there was almost no Al Quaeda in Iraq at all. Sadam kept them out because they hated him and he hated them.

No one 'wins' a war.
As the Dali Lama said in a recent interview in "Ode" magazine, "To use the power of the gun is a sign of weakness. The power of the gun is short-term. Very decisive, very powerful, but in the long run, the power of the gun cannot remain. This violence. It won't work."
