I don't feel hurt or anything because I have to stop and think- it is not about who is younger and prettier, etc. it is about the feelings and compatibility. Obviously they are ex's for a reason- more than likely we weren't compatible. I feel lucky now that I have someone who I am very happy with.
Now, in the past when I was single and found out that one of my ex's had a new lady in his life sure I got jealous and made myself feel better by thinking "That's ok, after the newness wears off she'll see the same horrible things I saw in him"

my ex left one once for a girl who lived three doors away from me. It was embarrassing because everyone in the n'hood were all talkin about it.
the new girl was YOUNGER, I guess she was alright looking, had a set of HOOTERS that made my ex look like "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" with his eyes popped out and tongue hung down to the floor. the funny part was she was a town vvhore and went around the block a few times with whomever.
My ex tried to get back wtih me after SHE dumped his @$$. The best part was I had already moved on. The guy I was dating actually turned out to be one of his closest friends from years past. They were reunited because my new boyfriend and I were about to go out on a date. My ex didnt realize it at the moment as he was talking to my new man by his car. Then when I got into my BFs car, the shocking look on his face was the best. That was the icing on the cake for me. That guy and I dated for three years.

My ex just got married to a girl that's younger. I'm not upset I just feel really bad for her. It's a shame how some guys can pull the wool over your eyes and you never see it coming. Poor Poor girl.

it really can surprise you,how you actually feel about this.I had it happen to me-my 43 year old husband ended up with a 23 year old who was quite pretty.She was also very childlike,and actually liked me-she would even ask me advice about him.
I heard recently she left him for a woman...
anyway,it was painful ,then it was annoying,then it was hilarious.That's how it felt to me.
